I am a meat lover and proud of it. I don't know how I would live with out my steak... My dad got some elk-meat from his boss who is a hunter and I didn't like it much, but it was okay. Lobster is my favorite food and it is of course, a meat.

Guess the same way vegetarians take pride in not eating meat (not talking about anyone in particular just some people.) Personally I don't see the point in being proud of eating meat. More then likely false pride.

but vegetarians take pride in eating meat because it stands for something, its like a personal protest. like you can understand quakers taking pride in not spending the proportion of their taxes that would fund the military. but how can eating meat be considered morally admirable?

I don't know. I understand that if you eat meat you are eating a dead animal, but I am proud that I eat meat because I know that vegitarians are missing out on great food by not eating meat, and I'm not missing out on it so I know that it is great. I don't know it just makes me proud.

i'm not vegetarian, not because i dont think industrially farming animals for meat isnt disgusting, but because i dont think it makes any difference anyway

I think there is a difference, I love my veggies and I love biting into a big juicy steak too. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I see no problem with eating meat. I mean, the animals would die anyway and we have been killing animals for as long as humans have been around. And what if we didn't eat cows and they took over the world? Think about it...

lol if we didnt eat cows, they wouldnt be bred so not only would they not take over the world they wouldnt have to die. and humans are going to die too, does that mean we should factory farm and eat people?

No, I think we are getting a little off topic here. But I don't think we should eat people, I just don't think think that there is a problem with eating meat.

No... I'd eat a cow or a pig... Just think about it, it is in human culture all around the world to eat meat, so why are you protesting it?
