He only bucks going into a canter because he has extra energy and its his way of releasing it really he's not trying to hurt me or get me off its just like short bursts of energy that he gets and releases by bucking. In all reality his bucks are like riding one of those horses in walmart. I was just caught off guard is all really

To many times to count. The one I most remember is the time Trigger took off down a hill, started to turn to the left and I leaned with him. Well then he wanted to go right, so I went left and he went right. I flew off, and landed under a bush into a pile of rocks. Well I went to get up and him and his whole 1500lbs jumped on my shoulder. I was ok nothing was broke or dislocated, and he was fine. Note I was bareback during this ride and I had just sprayed him with fly spray, so he was kind of slippery. lol

ooo, sounds painful lol. i know what you mean about flyspray, slippery stuff lol. worst i fell off is when i was jumping i think, i jumped 3 foot 5 or 6 or something like that, and i lost my balance, ended up in front of the saddle, went half way round the school, then dropped off in front my my horse, that was fun

I FELL OFF TODAY!! I was riding calypso bareback to move the cattle into another paddock, and one bullock cut to the right and so my horse followed to block it and I wasn't ready for it then SMACK the ground came up to me and slapped me in the face LOL

LOL it is cool how horses are trained to follow the cattle, like how Calypso moved to block the bullock. I think it is very cool!

the actual riding centre isnt the school, only the arena. do you not call it "schooling" then?

Some of my good falls was with my 38 and half in white pony. I broke my head open twice with him. That pretty much the only time i ever broke something. Any time now that i fall off either i fall and end up on my feet. Here a vid of one of my falls on one of the three or two year old pony i was riding/training. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUISi4ICNGk
