LOL it is cool how horses are trained to follow the cattle, like how Calypso moved to block the bullock. I think it is very cool!
Well they have to be, you don't want to be fighting a horse all day to do what you want when you have 200 bullocks in front of you. Thats what I do, I train them, then sell them Like the little boy in my siggy, he is going.

Well I have had plenty of falls. I can't even count them all. I have been taken off with like 3 times thought. 2 times with jake and 1 time with my old thoroughbred. I have fell off a jake alot of times. I was schooling jumping and it had rain the day before, but the ring was dry, but one spot and we were cantering and he sliped and he tried to catch me, but i feel into the mud. Then once me and him where fixing to turn and he wanted to go a different way than i wanted to go and he ducked out and i feel on some rocks. Then he took off with me one day and ran me into a post hole digger. Now that one hurt, I though I broke my arm. Then i Had a mare and she flipped on me backwards. But she didn't land on me I kinda rolled off. Then at a show I feel off just because the mare was such a mare and i wasn't ready and i feel off. Then at another show I feel of becuase me and jake where jumping this one jump and he took it too fast and I thought he was jumping it, but he wasn't but when i was fixing to sit back in my seat he was going up and we met in the middle and I hit him and I got off balance and I landed on my side. Hurt my knee and I got whip flash..(that like almost breaking you neck its pretty bad)..and many more falls. I jsut can't remeber then all.

Well he turned to try and save me from falling off, but his timing wasn't right. So he continued in the direction he was going (Which was toward the Highway!!!) and I was in his way. He tryed to jump over me but at a full out run that is kinda hard, he took one last stride and pushed off my shoulder when he jumped. I didn't blame him like some people do, I was just worried about him running into the road and slipping or getting hit.

Well I thought about my falls and remembered some more falls:
1st: I train ponies for this guy I know what ever he ask for I do, well last summer I was training a blue roan Dales pony to jump. I had him jumping great, he was only i think about 13 hds maybe and I had him clearing 3ft jumps (That's pretty big for a pony his size). Well my friend pretty much my sis, had watered the ponies the night before, and left the water running almost all night!!!So I went out the next day, doing the same out thing warming him up (you know extended and colleted trot and canter, tucking his head and blah blah blah), well we broke into an canter, uncolleted, and I had not check the round pen before, and we slipped and fell in the mudd. We slid about ten feet and my friend, didn't even notice!!!
2nd:Missy the white pony I have now, well she was one of the ponies I trained last summer. Well she was CRAZY, nobody could touch her. We finally caught her and I jumped on ( If you knew me you would think I'm crazy, I jump on anything I have ridden bulls and cows, and have jumped on mustangs that have just came off BLM) think nothing of it, little did I know she would flip over. She reared straight up (I was bareback) and fell to her side and rolled over!!! My trainer told me to jump off, but crazy me would not and I stayed on the whole time, my trainer had been holding her, well she lost the lead rope, during my wild pony ride, and the pony took off and stopped not fat from the spot the wild ride had started.
That are just some I have some more, but I have to think about them.

(If this is the case.)I know where mate is coming from. When you live on a working ranch you buy and sell horses all the time.

Mate- Why are you selling him if you are going to miss him? And why not keep him, he is beautiful!
Because I am going back to school next year and I don't have time to train four horses so if I sell him that makes more room for me and my study. I might also be selling my 6 year old quarter horse mare. If I don't then they will just waste in the paddock. He is only four, he has done enough training with me to go out in the big bad world and defend for himself. Sacrifices must be made for the greater good. And plus, I am only seventeen, I should be out having fun, not stuck at home training horses all my life. Two young horses to be trained is enough for me.

But mate, training horses can be fun! LOL I know what you mean though. Do you have a career other than horse training? Because you can make a real career out of it, you know if you get really into it and sell a TON of horses!

Right now, I only want to be doing a little training, and the rest having fun.. I have my whole life to train horses but only a little time to muck around with friends, get kicked out for going to fast, making fun of an instructor because they say their horses is amazing but my mates and my horses are better. I just want to have FUN!!!

Ahaha! Mate, I train, and well let meh tell you a story.
It was my first show, it was one of the classics at my stable and I had brought in my 14.1hh chestnut mare to show, I was getting her ready, she looked like a proffesnial horse. Well. We were doing relay races, and our stable had to pick 4 riders. SO, instead of the regular guy being the 4th. I was. And his buddies, Kelly and Luke, were super mad. But my bestfriend, Becky, was on the team, so they were saying how they were going to get meh and my horse.
When the day of the show came, Becky and I put our horses next to each other. We were having a grand time, getting them ready. When they were ready, we were going to go buy some stuff and look around, 15 minutes later, we came back because Becky had dressage. Our horses had mud smeared all over them, twigs in there mains. It was horrible. Becky was freaking out, so we got her horse done, because I had some time for the speed events. Well, then I came back, getting my horse ready. There is only 3 people who knew my horse was scared of bags, Mom, Me, and LUKE. So, he put them up. I tethered her up near my instructors car, she was falling asleep, intill I heard aloud TING. I ran, and someone. (Luke) Had put them up and i took them all down, soon, I ran into the twins, who looked up at me, Amanda and Brook. I gave them a video recorder. And they went and video taped Luke, they set it behind them, They got him to confess to everything..
He also said he was going to loosen my saddle, so at my event I kept checkin my saddle, then I heard my name, I darted toward the first barrel, as I turned, my saddle slipped sideways, I heard screams, they were my own. I straightened oout my saddle, tightened it up, and darted off, this was a relay race. I came back, and when Luke passed me, he didnt even look at meh. The evil three kept laughing and giggling.
After that, we came back and showed the instructor his car, and the tape. We heard him, our instructor, screaming at Lukes dad. Luke was not aloud back, and our instructor got a new car.
