OK, they are very dumb... They KNEW what they were doing is wrong, but they didn't want to change their ways once we (meaning Caucasian people that came over) showed them what they were doing is wrong, they are stubborn. And yes I know we raped their women, made the half-casts leave their family etc, etc.. But we have paid them back for it!

they shouldnt have needed showing, thats like emptying a bucket everytime it's half full and wondering why it never fills up. its a very odd historical story in general... but its believable they would be stubborn about their traditions, thats just human nature. think of the fight people put up about foxhunting! lol

Reef, that isn't true at all! We are currently studying Ancient Egypt in my social studies class, then we'll do Rome. We study lots of countries, and not just the ancient forms of them.

*gasps* LOL jkjkjk. Well, us Americans can get sort of caught up in our independance- and ego. LOL but no, we are well aware of other countries, and their histories. In SS, we do current events (a short paper on a news story) from other countries. It is a competition, whichever class does the most countries wins.
