Hi-ya, I'm Kimberly & I own a five year old Siberian Husky.Yes, he looks pretty, I know. But in real life, he's a pain.He talks too much, & every time he "woos" you can just tell he's calling you a bad work, or dissing you out.I hope to soon train him in agility ONCE I get him to be obedient, which I know shall take a while.Yes, this beautiful dog has a story behind him.
When I was about in third grade, it was about two weeks before Christmas, & I was on Christmas break.Well, my mom & her boyfriend went shopping, so I was left alone with my two older siblings.Well, when they got home, they brought back an early Christmas present: a Husky puppy! My older siblings & I were so exited.
Well, a week past, & we already gave the pup a name: Jake.Well it was one week away from Christmas, & as all young kids my age back then would of been, I was exited. But then the worst happend: Jake got worms, & went to the vet.I was hear broken, & every day that week I prayed for my new puppy to come home for Christmas, for as a double suprise, my mom put the pup in my name, unlike the other dogs we had.
And on Christmas Eve, my prayers were answered. My dog came home! And we hade a happy Christmas. His eyes where different colors, & since I was young then, I believed what my mom said when she told me that is was because of the medcain given to him while at the vets.
But an even bigger surprise came to me last summer when I found his registration papers: the dog that came home for Christmas Eve was a totally different Husky & that the puppy my mom had taken to the vets had sadly died.= [And that, of course, his eyes weren't different colors from the medicine.
So as you can see, this dog means a LOT to me, even IF he can be bad at some point. He is very active, & very lovable once you get to know him.My mom & I hope to soon move to Colorado & away from out present location so I can train Jake & my mom's Bull mastiff Mac, & hopefully get a female Siberian Husky because no, he isn't fixed, & train them as a sled dog team, & hopefully enter the Jr. Idtarod[if I spelled that right].
Well I hope you enjoyed reading this, & I wish me luck with the Sled Dog training!
