Just goes to show how much I love him though. I would walk over fire and hot coals for that horse.

I believe you zippo. You seemed really worried about him that day he went missing!

lol! There is a horse at my old barn named Scooter who has like, 5 kids and 4 of them are still at the barn. It is really cool. And one of the mares (a bay appy who is the most beautiful horse I have seriously ever seen) was named after me.

yea it deffinately seems to be a female feature! that's why i think i'd prefer a gelding for my first horse, they tend to be far more laid back. quite like humans really lol

yea human divas i just have no patience for! lol i loved millie though, largely because i felt sorry for her. she didnt like schooling or children or repetative excercises and she was used as a riding school horse. she hated it, she was so jaded and it made her bitter. she wouldn't bite people but she was very stubborn under saddle, and my instructors solution to this was to whip her harder. i onyl had her one summer, but i was so happy to be able to give her a few months of happy hacking, without stress and, more importantly, i never used a whip on her. she was going fabulously by the end, she didnt mind occasional schooling and jumping in return for a little affection and respect. i hated having to give her back to being a lesson horse. i hope she's ok now, its horrible to think of her depressed again
