they were on Al Murray's Happy Hour yesterday and i remembered how much i love them! i've only got 4 albums (i know, its blasphemous) but as far as i'm concerned they can do no wrong... they can cover Tie Your Mother Down, Handbags and Gladrags and The Best of You as well as the originals and some of their writing is pure genius...
their softer stuff - Getaway, rewind, it means nothing their harder stuff - the Bartender and the Theif, Madame Helga, Devil
AND THEY'RE WELSH!!!
i think i feel a new phase coming on...

I also am in love with Kid Rock, familiar with him? Here is one of his newest and most popular songs...
It was 1989 my thoughts were short my hair was long, caught somewhere between a boy and man. She was 17 and she was far from in between, it was summertime in northern Michigan. Ahhh, ahhh, ahhh. Splashing through the sand bar, talking bout a campfire it's the simple things in life like when and where. We didn't have no internet, but man I never will forget, the way the moonlight shined upon her hair. CHORUS: We were trying different things, and we were smoking funny things, makin love out by the lake to our favorite songs. Sippin whiskey off the bottle, not thinking bout tomorrow, singing Sweet Home Alabama, all summer long.
That is just a little bit of it, but it is my favorite song! It is called All Summer Long.
