I live in Tennessee.I have six horses.4 are rescues...the first was a 9y/o chocolate bay TN walking mare I found at an auction almost starved to death with a 3 mos. filly on her side and no milk. The next a sorrel saddle horse was a case of neglect due to a divorce(I believe). The next a black Tn Walker came to me as he was cut out of the show ring for not being able to get his legs up high enough and stumbling.Turned out he had an inch long piece of wood go through his frog and get stuck in his pastern causing him a great deal of pain. The next came as a horse for my husband to ride while the last horse was on the mend. The last a black/white saddle horse who was on her way to auction because her last owner was uneducated.I've had others come and go as they are rehabilitated and found new homes but these are the ones that will stay with me till the end of their days or mine.I don't show I simply ride for pleasure often to far off places in the mountains...and away from it all.i don't haggle about what bit you use,I don't care what brand your saddle is or what breed you have.I simply like people who enjoy horses Period !
