My mother is getting rid of my dog Billy Ray and my sisters dog Havachat. They are too aggressive and teach pups but habits. But what I don't get is.... They are pups themselves, only 10 months old. Their breeding is viscous of course they are going to be viscous, it keeps people off of our property THEY ARE GUARD DOGS!! I don't know how she expects me to say sure get rid of the pup that got me through the times where it seemed every person and every animal was dieing around me. The pup that waits for me to get home and starts crying because he is so happy to see me. I mean come on WTF!!!

Oh no mate, that is terrible! Have you explained that to her? LOL sorry if I sound like one of those people who are like, "It's gonna be okay, you can just get another pup!" because I know that is lame. Does your mom know that they are guard dogs?

thats so unfair! can she do that, if its your dog? if they are guard dogs, cant you house them seperately to the new pet pups so the bad habits arent an issue?

I have explained but she said its too late for them if we can't get rid of them we are going to shoot them they are too aggressive. And no Reef, the pups would still be able to hear the other pups barking at everything and they would learn from that, even if you put Ray and Chat on the other side of the farm...

Wouldn't it be better to put them down instead of shooting? I know it is cheaper, but it is faster and more peaceful.

actually i would have thought shooting would be quicker? the bullet doesnt have to go through the bloodstream before it kills you lol
but why would your mum want to get rid of them if you need guard dogs? surely unnecessary pets would be the first things to go?

Shooting is less painful, you do know that needling them give the animal a heart attack? And it is very painful but the poor bastards can't react because it attacks all the muscles before the main muscles the heart...
