just listening to Leona Lewis' version of Run (snow patrol) and i gotta say, i much prefer the original. thats usually the case, but there have been some covers that are amazing, like i love Stereophonic's handbags and gladrags more than rod stewarts and Marilyn manson's tainted love more than gloria jones or soft cell

any covers you think are particularly fabulous? or ruined by being changed?

Well, I'm just going to say that the Dixie Chicks are big time song stealers.

one of the most horrible covers is Year 3000 from the jonas wankers brothers. it was bad enough when Busted did it but at least they wrote it! lol i was horrified when i found out it had been covered
