Hello, A few concer from a fello horsey person. Ive been looking around lately, and at peoples post.. (of course randomly) And it comes to me that we have alot of this: u, wat, dat. Now I dont know about you.. But isnt it better to speak proper english, I dont think that is english at all. But things like.: you, what, that. Clearly are.. So please.. And also another thing, when I stumble across things like: lol and wtf. That really doesnt bother me as much.. As I would say, im not picking anyone out of the crowd. Thanks..

the text speak really annoys me too... you can understand it in texts but on a forum it really doesnt take any longer to type the real word!
gotta admit though, i'm a bit of a lol-fiend! in reality i talk with my face as much as with words so putting lol at the end of every sentence is a habit i'm desperately trying to get out of

The "texting speech" does really annoy me, how ever I do not punish the people who shorten longer words, even if the word is not really that long at all. For example" million = mill, premium = premi. That kind of abbreviations do not cause me to make a fuss, because after all they are abbreviations not misspelled words. Then again, I have been one to use "u" instead of you on msn (there we go abbreviation ) chat, but really that is only when I am in a hurry. Oh by the way "` z i p p o <3 5453399" you misspelled frickin in your second post, sorry I can't help spotting errors, even if I don't spot them in my own writing. Oh and by the way Reef you used text speech in your first post "gotta" aka got to BUSTED!!!

ha is frickin/frikkin actually a real word? i think if people know what you mean then language is good enough, even though it is useful to have knowledge of proper english as a background. or proper italian, if you're italian.
