does anyone dream up stories and things but never actually get round to writing them? i do that all the time! dont think i've ever got further than about 20pages in a story lol
the one i'm weighing up writing just now is kinda gay, kinda immature fantastical type thing. it would be settled around royalty in another land, with betrayal and twists round every corner! i've got my shakespeare-esque comedy characters figured out and murder, love and everything.... i'll elaborate it if you like, never actually gonna get round to writing it anyways so i dont care about copyright! lol

I have a ton of good ideas for stories, or even paragraphs for a story I don't even have an idea for.
I want to write a story about an animal in a zoo, from it's point of view.

Yeah, Im kinda like the person to get the first few chapters done, then quit. But as well, I try to think more often of the book. I am currently into the third chapter of one of my books, of which shall be the second book in a series. And I've been using a lot of good Imegry, from what my Core Extention teacher told me.

my english teacher said she assumed i'd go off to do english at university level but i really hated her, and what she turned the subject into for me so i dropped it 2 years ago. kinda makes me feel bad that i have absolutely no formal creative writing teaching lol

LOL, I don't understand those classes anyway. If you are creative, you shouldn't go to a class so that they can cramp your style, you know?
And to answer your question Reef, it'd be like a children's short chapter or picture book. Just about like, a polar bear and a day in his life in a zoo or something.

I know. I love how you don't really have to think to hard to write them, except having a limit of 100 words or something like that would be a real challenge. One thing I can't stand are those "Level 1" reading books that are like this:
Jimmy has a dog. Jimmy has a dog that likes to jump. Jimmy has a dog that likes to bark. Jimmy likes to walk with his dog. Jimmy likes to play with his dog.
Why not just be like, Jimmy has a dog that likes to jump and bark. He likes to walk and play with his dog.

Yes, it's the one with a spider. God, Reef. You are uncultured!
I hate the new movie with Dakota Fanning. The old cartoon version is much better.
