I would love to donate to charity but I barley have enough to get presents for Christmas. I had to work my butt off to just buy my new saddle. Plus i have to make sure i have money to feed my ferrets too. Kinda sucks when you get older and have to have the reasonably to make sure you have enough to feed everything and whatever you need for yourself too. |

well yea, no point giving all your money to charities if you then dont have enough to keep your own animals happy! lol defeats the point slightly  i was out yesterday, my mum was getting presents, and we walked through a shop all full of expensive gifts and sparkley decorations with people all wrapped up in snuggly jackets with christmas music playing... and i walked past one of their shiney new plasma screen TVs which happened to be showing the news silently, the image of a Zimbabwean boy with cholera on a hospital bed. it was kinda sick. |

I hate how people kinda kill the jolly ol Christmas spirit by showing things like that (the sick kid). It gets people sad, and then they can't fully enjoy Christmas because they know that somewhere out there, someone is dieing.

norsu, that wasnt really the aspect i was trying to show. i was trying to draw the contrast between raking in the gifts we think we're entitled to at the price of other people's heath and happiness
