excuse the rant, but Donald Trump has now been given permission to built a huge golf course on an area of sand dunes quite near where i live. rationally, i dont know what to think but as an ex-councillor (forced to resign after having the deciding vote against the development first time round) put it "a billionair's vanity project is being put before scotland's national heritage" and he's right. It was on the news today, i hate how someone who doesnt even live here and obviously cares more about money than people or nature can just waltz in and have his arse licked by politicians
on one hand, all land is going to be developed at some point and a golf course is probably pretty much the best thing you can hope for, but such an environmental debate shouldn't be dictated by someone who considers the land "a piece of property". its only bringing 1400 jobs to the area and hundreds of homes are going to be built... i dont know. it just feels wrong.

*Taps God on the back, then points to Donald Trump's new golf course, then says: "Please get rid of it"*

Yes, that is quite original indeed. That is sad! Think of all the critters that live in the sand dunes...
