they are! skews are never boring, not that any horse is boring but you know what i mean. they just look so unique and flashy

What is skewbald? LOL sorry I just know the basics- grey, bay, black, chestnut, piebald, palomino, grulla, etc etc...

a skewbald is a broken coloured horse with white and any other colour except black. a white/black is a piebald

i love dun horses, grullo, buckskin, etc. i like how some have the dorsal stripe and bars on their legs. but i dont mind a simple sorrel with a gleamy coat. im not really a fan of paints or horses with a lot of white.

Yeah same here, horses with alot of white bug me. I guess just cuz I don't like the color white.

Buckskin is defined as a golden/bayish coat with black legs, black mane and tail, and they usually have a dorsal stripe.
Bay is defined as a shade of brown (usually darkish) with black legs and black mane and tail...they usually dont have a dorsal stripe.

but i thought the difference between a buckskin and a dun was that that duns have dorsal stripes and zebra markings, but buckskins dont?

I know a buckskin, he doesn't have zebra markings. I also know a bay with a dorsal stripe! She is an American Indian horse, does that change things? I'm not in on colors in relation to breeds and stuff.
