Elissari, a mythical land set at a time before the dinosaurs, is home to many magical creatures. Ruling all these creatures, as the humans do today, are the herds of horses that roam the land. Each herd has its own patron god, whom they call upon in desparate need. But the gods don't only come when they are called... Kyprio, the trickster god, doesn't have a herd to watch over. Instead, he appears when he wants to, causing trouble for the herds of Elissari. He is responsible for many things that have happened to the horses in the past, including a flooding of the River Bali, which wiped out a whole herd of horses. The herd's patron god had been Kyprio himself. To punish the then-young god, no herd would have Kyprio as a patron god. Kyprio was also sent to 100 years in exile. It has been 103 years since the Sarugani herd was wiped out. Kyprio has not been seen since he came back from exile. Word has it that he has transformed himself into a horse and has gone to live with the horses of Elissari. Kyprio has a plan: to recreate the Sarugani herd. The other gods won't be happy, but what they don't know won't hurt them, right? Enter the magical world of Elissari
