I've never come into contact with a Highland, never really seen many pictures of them either. Are they common in the USA?

i used to know an amazing highland, they're really stocky but this one was the most amazing jumper! so bold, you'd just point him and he'd clear it, never refused a fence in his life and i dont know if they're common in the us, i'd doubt it

There is this pony at my barn and once I was riding him and my trainer was setting up some higher cavaletties and he looked scared LOL. It was pretty cute.

aww sweet. some of the ponies i used to work with just decided themselves when they'd had enough, they'd pop over a few jumps but as soon as it got too high, they'd turn themselves into the middle of the school for rest, regardless of what the small child onboard wanted!
