yes, and toby does dressage and i think he was once a little bit upside down. and quarter horses dont carry their heads low wen doing English... but i do love heavy breeds. how they move in big steps but gently its nice to watch them work.

do they not? lol shows how much i know! i've never seen a QH pick its head up for english... but maybe i've only seen them doing english pleasure, if that's any different
i love heavy breeds too, i used to ride a black shire X called Guiness and the first time i got on him i was amazed by the length of stride! took me ages to get used to rising at that speed lol

Quarter Horses can do ANYTHING, they are so great, but once you get to a certain height in jumping, you shouldn't do it, sense their hoofs are so small compared to their bodies, it can cause early stages of this disease (sorry can't remember what it was called) You want a good versatile horse, get an Australian Stock Horse, they can do ANYTHING!!!!

I've never met/seen an Australian Stock horse that I know of, do they have the WHOLE package? (Looks, versatility...) I don't really believe in jumping at great heights (Grand Prix) because it does damage to the horse's front legs. Yeah yeah, I know that they love it but it sometimes causes pain and broken bones. And we all know what a horse's broken leg leads to...

They have looks, personalty, loyalty, commitment. A ASH would jump of a cliff if you asked them to. The agility and power of a quarter horse, the speed and looks of a thoroughbred. The horse in my pic is a ASH, a small one thoguh cause he was cut late which stunted his growth... When Poet comes back from spelling I will show you what a ASH should look like.

Oh why thank you, he would be a good horse for a shorter person, or someone who doesn't care about the height of a horse...

I love Arabians. They have the everything, they are even the smartest breed. If you can get use to their sometimes fiery temperament, they are really good.

Yeah, I don't like Arabs, as you said about their temperaments but also how the Arabs always think they are better then you... Snobby horses in my opinion, but thats just me...

Mate I agree with you! I don't mind Arab crosses, the mare I ride is a Arab crossed with a QH and she is AWESOME. You get the occasional easy going arab, but it is very unusal. They are pretty though.
