it would! but what are the chances? if anything wanted our planet it would probably just suffocate us with something and save its own casulties. not that i particularly believe in extra-terrestrial life anyway

Well, I believe in ET life but I don't think they are the tall skinny creatures with big black eyes that we get in balloon form at the fair and stuff, I think they mainly consist of bacteria and small organisms. You know?

yea you're probably right, certaintly its statistically improbable that any other life is intelligent enough and close enough to contact us

Yes. Though, I love a good science-fiction movie.... lol! I do however, understand fears of alien life. I mean, what if the ETs are smarter than us, they have just taken the 2 million years of humanity to plan a brilliant attack on us? Or maybe they once lived on earth and moved to another planet OUTSIDE OF THE MILKYWAY to protect themselves! Space confuses me... in some ways I want them to continue to study space so that we know what is out there, and some ways I enjoy the mysteriousness of space and want to keep it that way...

Or maybe they once lived on earth and moved to another planet OUTSIDE OF THE MILKYWAY to protect themselves! they'd pretty much have to be outside the milky way, most likely further away than can be travelled in the length of time humanity has existed as a race, if they exist at all. there are so many inescapable factors to make a planet suitable for life that the chances of one being so close to another are practically impossible
